This was a limited run instrument that gives you a wealth of tones from a unique pickup configuration of this S2 series guitar. You get a HSS pickup configuration that gives you seven different pickup combinations for a wide range of tones for any style of playing.
The body of this guitar is a contoured double-cut mahogany body with an asymmetric beveled top that features a smooth satin finish in the ever-stylish Tobacco Sunburst. It is paired with a mahogany neck with the PRS Pattern Regular neck shape with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. A most comfortable playing experience.
Let’s talk pickups. This HSS configured guitar comes with two Vela Type-D single-coil pickups giving you the chime and quacky charm of single-coils, and complimented with the thick tones of a Starla bridge humbucker. With a 5-way pickup selector, Master Volume, and Push/Pull Tone pot there are a vast array of tones to choose from, all on the fly.
This PRS S2 Studio comes with a PRS S2 vibrato bridge/tailpiece to provide stability, tone, and easy intonation while still providing expressive vibrato bending. There is a set of PRS S2 tuners to keep you in tune.
This PRS S2 Studio is in great condition and comes with a gig bag. It’s been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and is ready for it’s next home.
