We just took in a unique Fender Custom Shop build – this is amazing ’56 Strat, full of flame, vibe and tone. This is one that we spec’ed out here, and now it’s back again, available on the market for the first time. There’s a lot going on with this one so dig in and dig it!
The first thing you’ll notice is the stunning AAA Flame Maple top, over a Roasted Alder Body. It’s finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, just as it should be. The color is Violin Burst, which is rarely seen – which is surprising, as it’s beautiful. The thin transparent finish really lets the flame show nicely. This was done as an NOS (New Old Stock) build, so there’s no aging. The previous owner only had it for a few months, so it’s super clean, barely played, and in like new condition.
